Britain Turner is the Chief Information Officer of the Georgia Building Authority, the Georgia State Financing & Investment Commission, and the State Properties Commission. Prior to this role, Turner served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer.

Turner joined the Georgia Building Authority, the Georgia State Financing & Investment Commission, and the Georgia State Properties Commission’s Information Technology department in 2020 as its Chief Information Security Officer.

Prior to joining the State, Turner owned and operated Turner Tech Services, a managed information technology consulting firm supporting Georgia businesses, municipalities, and County government agencies.

Turner is an alumnus of the University of West Georgia, where he majored in Management of Information System (MIS) and minored in Finance. Britain is married to Melissa Turner, and they have three children – Brayden, Declan, and Laken.
