Governing Board

The members of the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission are the Governor (chairman and chief executive officer), the Lieutenant Governor (vice-chairman), the State Auditor (secretary and treasurer), the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Attorney General, the Commissioner of Agriculture, and the Director of the Office of Treasury and Fiscal Services.

Chief Executive Officer and Chairman

Brian Kemp is a husband, father, businessman, and public servant.

On November 6, 2018, he was elected as Georgia's 83rd Governor, earning more votes than any gubernatorial candidate in state history.

Geoff Duncan is Georgia's Lieutenant Governor-elect. Geoff was previously elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2012. He and his wife Brooke have been married for 20 years and have three boys, Parker 16, Bayler 12 and Ryder 8. Their family resides in Forsyth County and attends Browns Bridge Community Church, which is an affiliate of North Point Community Church.

David Ralston

David Ralston, who is serving his third term in the House of Representatives, was elected Speaker of the House on Jan. 11, 2010.

Greg Griffin

Greg Griffin, State Auditor

Secretary and Treasurer

Greg S. Griffin currently serves as the State Auditor of Georgia. Mr. Griffin was appointed to that position by Governor Nathan Deal on July 1, 2012. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Griffin had held the position of State Accounting Officer for the State of Georgia since 2008.

Chris Carr

Christopher M. Carr was sworn into office as Georgia's 54th Attorney General on November 1, 2016. Carr believes there is no more solemn responsibility than to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution and laws of the State of Georgia and the interests of the people of the State of Georgia.

Lynnette “Lynne” Riley was appointed State Treasurer by Governor Brian Kemp in May 2019. Lynne Riley served four years in the General Assembly representing House District 50. As a State Representative, Riley served on several influential committees, including Ways and Means, Natural Resources and Environment, Retirement, and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Oversight Committee. Riley was the Fulton County House Delegation Chair during the 2013-2014 Legislative Session, and she served as one of Governor Deal’s Floor Leaders in 2014.
