The Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority and the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter celebrated the opening of a new equestrian arena
PERRY, Georgia – (February 22, 2020) The Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority and the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter celebrated the opening of a new equestrian arena located centrally on the State fairgrounds.
The arena, which was dedicated to former Governor and current Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue, will be used for horse and livestock shows, rodeos and other fairground exhibitions. Spanning more than 59,000 square feet, the arena contains over 450 seats for spectators, and a 20,000 square foot covered open air space that serves as pre-function setup and event staging for animals.

The Construction Division oversees capital outlay projects and provides construction management services to state entities. The Construction Division also offers Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance assistance to state entities through the services of the State ADA Coordinator.
