GSFIC Breaks Ground on a College of Mathematics and Science Building at Augusta University
On August 23, 2019, the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia broke ground on a new, modern College of Mathematics and Science building at Augusta University. With a projected opening of May 2021, GSFIC approximates the cost of the facility to be $66.5 million and encompass 124,500 square feet, providing ample space for innovative laboratories that will facilitate student-centered research and increase the number of graduate programs. With the addition of these services, this facility will promote recruitment of new students and progress student achievement.
