Savannah State University Groundbreaking Ceremony

On October 4, 2017, Savannah State University held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Science and Technology Facility. This project consisted of 2 separate buildings. The main building will house laboratories for six existing programs and include faculty offices and teaching and research labs for Environmental Science, Chemistry, Forensic Science, Electrical Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology and Computer Science Technology. The second building will be a research facility that will support the Marine Science Program.
