The Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the $16.9 million renovation of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (IRH) and Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) north and east wing facilities.

The renovation project has enhanced patient services by offering 30 private IRH beds and 24 private LTACH beds. Specialized upgrades have been made to the ventilator, bariatric and isolation rooms. All mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems have been brought up to code. Computer and information technology systems have been upgraded.

In addition, the project included a new central energy plant that will serve the east and north wings.
