Department of Juvenile Justice Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Terrell County

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held to officially open the Department of Juvenile Justice’s new regional youth detention center in Terrell County. The existing building located on the property, which was formally a Georgia Department of Corrections probation facility, was renovated. In addition, a new 54-bed housing unit was constructed on the site. The 51,473 GSF multi-building complex cost $11.579 million.
