Albany Technical College held a groundbreaking ceremony to construct a pedestrian bridge over Slappey Boulevard. The bridge will help create a pedestrian friendly connection between the east and west sides of campus. The estimated cost of the bridge is $1.45 million and is scheduled for completion in April of 2016. The bridge will be 125 feet long and consist of self-weathering steel. In addition, it will have a vertical platform lift to provide ADA access.
