Director of Human Resources

Jesse Moyers, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, has served the state of Georgia for the last 10 years. He began his state career with the Technical College System of Georgia, serving in roles at both Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, GA and at the system office in Atlanta.

Mr. Moyers joined the Georgia Building Authority, the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission, and the Georgia State Properties Commission Human Resources department in January of 2020 and was named Senior Human Resources Manager in September of 2022. He was promoted to Director of Human Resources in May of 2023.

In his leadership role, he guides all human resource disciplines for the GBA, GSFIC, and SPC.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky (BS) and Sullivan University (MBA, MSHRL), Jesse is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and as a Senior Certified Professional (SCP) by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Jesse is a resident of Fulton County, GA and is a member of The Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Atlanta.
