She began her career in 2015 with the Georgia Department of Audits prior to coming to the Financing and Investment Division in 2022. She also served as the auditor for the University System of Georgia for several years. Kristin is the financial statement preparer of the GSFIC Capital Projects Fund, GSFIC Transportation Investment Act Fund, and Georgia Higher Education Facilities Authority Financial Statements. Kristin also prepares the annual spend-down report of general obligation bond proceeds and works with the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget and the State Accounting Office for reporting the G.O. Debt Sinking Fund.

Kristin has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Jacksonville State University. She is a member of the Georgia Fiscal Management Council, Association of Government Accountants, and Government Finance Officers Association.
