She began her career in 1988 with the Georgia Department of Audits and also served at the Department of Education prior to coming to the Financing and Investment Division in 2007. She is responsible for the accounting of the Capital Projects Fund, Transportation Investment Act Fund, the annual financial audit for GSFIC and the Georgia Higher Education Facilities Authority, and annual spend-down report of general obligation bond proceeds. Kim also works with the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget and the State Accounting Office for reporting on the G.O. Debt Sinking Fund.
Kim has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Auburn University and obtained her CPA in 1993. She is a member of the Georgia Fiscal Management Council and the Association of Government Accountants.
