University of West Georgia Initiates Renovation and New Construction Project for the Biology Building

The University of West Georgia celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony to begin the $17.5 million renovation and addition to the biology building. This project will involve the renovation of 72,540 GSF and 10,000 GSF of new construction.

The renovation and new construction will include upgraded street-level ADA accessibility, life safety improvements, improvements to the common and learning spaces, additional classrooms and laboratory space.

The project will provide the necessary advanced teaching and learning technology as well as replace MEP systems as needed.
