Georgia Southern University Breaks Ground on Interdisciplinary Academic Building

Georgia Southern University held a groundbreaking ceremony to construct an 110,000 GSF interdisciplinary academic building at a cost of $25.2 million. The multi-storied building will be located on a 1.5 acre site that currently has three temporary buildings which will be demolished as part of the project.

The multi-purpose classroom building will serve a cross-section of academic disciplines including interior design, fashion merchandising, apparel design, history, foreign languages, writing linguistics, international studies and human ecology.
