The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) Selects e-Builder to Standardize Capital Project Delivery Processes and Controls
GSFIC has completed an evaluation of construction management software providers and selected e-Builder Enterprise as its solution to manage the entire project lifecycle. This system will begin with contract bidding and end with closeout documents. GSFIC will use all e-Builder modules to enable more efficient cost controls, process automation, document controls, bidding, and reporting.
A broad range of stakeholders that includes vendors, architects, engineers, and contractors will now be able to collaborate on GSFIC projects with the e-Builder system. By enabling a system that’s fully web-based and easy to navigate GSFIC seeks to mitigate project issues, eliminate redundant data entry, and provide logical workflows that will improve customer service. The e-Builder system will enable faster access to information that allows clients to view specific projects and keep up with their progress.
Once fully implemented, e-Builder will provide GSFIC with a central tracking and controls system. This will standardize and automate budget approvals and changes, commitments and commitment changes, consulting and construction pay applications and invoices, change orders, all project related documents and capital project data. This standardized system will ensure that GSFIC can continuously monitor and measure processes and performance to address and improve problem areas that might develop.
