Glenda Knowles has been in public service with the state of Georgia for almost 30 years. She currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) where she has gained over 10 years of her work experience. Before coming to GSFIC, Glenda worked for the Georgia Public Service Commission as a Fiscal Budget Administrator. Prior to that, she worked for the Georgia Department of Administrative Services in varying accounting positions. 

As Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Knowles is responsible for the accounting unit of the Construction Division of the Ga. State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC). This includes oversight of the agency budget, payroll, operating invoices and the annual financial audit for the agency. She also is responsible for booking bond sales, load projects and setting up project budgets, among other accounting duties.   

Glenda Knowles is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.
