Deputy Director, Construction Division
DC Maudlin was appointed Deputy Director of the Construction Division on May 1, 2008. Mr. Maudlin had served as Director of the Construction Services Department since joining GSFIC in the spring of 2006. Prior to joining GSFIC, he served two years as Director of Public Works for Pompano Beach, Florida and, prior to that, three years as Director of Public Works, Fulton County, Georgia. Mr. Maudlin also served 26 years in the US Army Corps of Engineers. His military assignments included: Facility Manager, United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.; Deputy District Engineer, Charleston District, Charleston, S.C.; Commander, 40th Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder Germany; Installation Commander, National Imagery and Mapping Agency, Bethesda, Md.; and US Army Central Command, Engineer.
Mr. Maudlin holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. He has been married to the former Angela Leach for 36 years. They have two children, daughter Kelly and son John; and three grandchildren Abby, Nate and Ian.
